Renting with Fab Student Homes eased so many of these. 34 Elford Grove was clean and well presented. Mo took us through the renting process in a concise and easy to understand manner, happy to answer any questions, no matter how trivial. Having Mo as my landlord made renting easy and enjoyable. Xun Guo, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2026). 20 Elford Grove is a really lovely house. I truly enjoyed the two years I lived here. One highlight is definitely the cherry blossom tree right across from the house—around late March to early April, it’s absolutely beautiful in full bloom. You can see it from the kitchen, and if you stay in the room I had, you can even see it while lying in bed, which always lifts your mood. And the landlord goes without saying—he’s the best I’ve ever had. Whenever there’s an issue, he sorts it out straight away. It’s also a super convenient place to live: very close to campus, with supermarkets nearby. The whole street is full of students, so people often pop over to visit each other. I’ll really miss living here.

The property is in great condition, has a great vibe and super location for NSCD students! I felt really comfortable and at home in 10 EG, it didn’t take long for me to settle in as it has a lovely homely atmosphere. The street has many NSCD students which creates a great community, it is close to supermarkets and easy to travel to the centre too. Mo is a perfect landlord, always available to help, clearly communicates and has a friendly and caring attitude. I 100% recommend to anyone looking for housing in the area.
