Reviews from our customers

Parents of Louise Eldridge, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2017). As parents of a 16 year old, leaving home for the first time, you can imagine the nervousness and trepidation we felt around so many aspects of the move. Renting with Fab Student Homes eased so many of these. 34 Elford Grove was clean and well presented. Mo took us through the renting process in a concise and easy to understand manner, happy to answer any questions, no matter how trivial. Throughout the tenancy, Mo's response to issues was swift, fixing the problem without delay. He was happy to take calls and e-mails directly from ourselves, always replying promptly - nothing was too much trouble. The end of tenancy process was handled in the same helpful manner. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fab. 5-Star service! Simon & Liz Eldridge.

Libby Stant, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2021). I'm currently in my second year choosing Fab Student Housing (1st year No. 22, 2nd year No. 31) and will be staying for my final year as well. I'm not the first and certainly won't be the last to rave about our landlord Mo who continues to make living here so relaxed and comfortable. Any issues at all are addressed as soon as they arise and every aspect of the experience is easy and professional. The houses themselves are the most reasonably priced while still being some of the nicest, most spacious and homely student places to live - on a road full of families and other Northern students, a short but enjoyable walk from NSCD. I will continue to highly recommend Mo and the company to others and I'm glad my Northern experience was shared here!

Jihan Bel Houla, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2021). 20 Elford Grove has a big kitchen with enough space for storage and communal dining. In terms of size the living room has also proven to be helpful, especially during the pandemic when we could only dance in our homes. All rooms have nice wooden floors which make it easy to keep them clean. Every bed room comes fully furnished with everything you might need. I was particularly impressed by Mo, our landlord, who was available at all times and would accommodate our wishes (e.g. he installed two additional cupboards in the bathroom for more storage room) and would take care of any kind of problems around the house immediately and with care. He is absolutely reliable, easy to contact and will make sure you can genuinely feel at home.

Marit Meloe, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2017). I lived in 22 Darfield Crescent in the first year of my degree at NSCD. It is a beautiful, homely house that I quickly learned to love. It is a perfect size for two people with two lovely, big bedrooms. The kitchen is modern and the bathroom is big and light. A thing that I really loved about the apartment is that it is always in the sun which means that you can have bright light shining through the windows all day long, as well as enjoying the sun in the small garden in front of the house. There are plenty of local, small shops in the area around the house, and just a couple of minutes away a big supermarket. Mo is a fantastic landlord. He always reply to your questions or queries and gives you advice if needed. If it is anything wrong in the house he is very quick to fix it. He really wants the best for his costumers and I will absolutely recommend both him and the flat to future students.

Tom Noble, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2019). I lived in 9 Elford Grove during my first year at NSCD. Mo have been a great landlord and has answered any query I may have had. He has fixed any problem there may have been at the house as soon as you could.

Karolina Szymanska, North School of Contemporary Dance (2016). I had a very nice time staying two years at 22 Elford Grove. The house has spacious kitchen, nice rooms and big living room. Everything in good condition. The Landlord is very helpful and every little problem was taken care of straight away. Mo is genuinely kind and patient with answering all kind of questions. I would highly recommend staying in one of the houses!

Isla Hurst, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2018). Mo has been a great landlord at 10 Elford Grove for this past year- always responding to any queries or issues we had very quickly. He has even gone as far to give us extra information, for example, sending a selection of links to websites to help us choose a broadband service. I feel secure having Mo as a landlord, and I have found his house to be of very high quality, and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience living in Elford Grove.

Heriberto Cruz, PG Diploma Leeds College of Music (2013). It was a great choice to stay at 59 Bayswater Grove, a comfortable and very well kept house in a good location at a walking distance to city centre and 5 minutes away by bus (at least 4 different buses three blocks away) . There are lots of shops around in the area, so everything is at hand. Besides being always very kind and ready to help whenever needed, the landlord provides all the information regarding the tenancy with great clarity. You can be confident everything will be dealt with honesty.

Tammy Tsang, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2019). It was a pleasure staying at 12 Elford Grove for 2 years. The houses are very well maintained and has a nice community of other students from NSCD in the same area. Our Landlord, Mo, was fantastic, very approachable and helpful to any concerns we might have, whether big or small, questions are always welcomed. Problems in and around the house got looked at and sorted out quickly. Would definitely recommend!
